boat deck textured paint Re: fiberglass deck textured gelcoat thanks td. the only way to get the whole deck out is to cut around the edges of the gunwale. i think that might to diff since it has a recessed channel for water flow all the way around it to help water get back to the scupper hoses. it'd be tough to re glass something small and inverted/concaved like that..
