If you are in the book binding business, case board warp is something you are probably familiar with. in fact, if you work with case board at all you may have experienced warp issues at some point. we recently visited with a case-making customer that was experiencing case board warp.. First i place a large book like an atlas on the (folded up) warped board, so that it is covered completely. then pile as many more large books as you can find on the atlas -- or anything else really heavy. leave it a few days and pretty much any board will flatten eventually. however, a change in the weather can undo your work.... Even when books aren't exposed directly to water, they can still sustain moisture damage from humidity. this is especially true for books that are stored in damp or humid areas such as basements, garages and storage sheds. when a book is exposed to humid conditions for an extended period of time, the pages tend to bend and warp..
