build center console for boat
Building the steering console for my 24-foot boat. frame is two by twos and face is 5/8 plywood. sides are quarter inch plywood. will be using 4 oz cloth to fiberglass.. I'd like to build a center console boat. 19-23 foot. most likely strip/composite construction. probably outboard powered. needs to be a good looking boat. the glen-l designs just don't have that sexiness. the landing school builds one that was on the cover of this year's motorboat mag put out by the folks at woodenboat. very nice looking boat.. build center console for boat Re: my center console build and plans boater45, check your pm. kukiebs, for this console, i think fiberglass strand mat should be sufficient. doesn't really require that much strength. it's cheaper than woven. you can get 3' x 3' sheets at walmart for $4..
