civ 5 build work boat
It is my first game....that i sarted 3 days ago...on quick. anyway, i built the city on the coast and went to build a boat but cant find any. i am sure i researched sailing and many of the techs about sailing thereafter. btw i built the city in south africa. please help. i want to build one and tell anyone adjacent to me "im on a boat!". I am not shore if this is a bug but i have a city with whales in a lake (it's only a lake as ice makes it so you can t get in to it) but as you can t build ships unless you have cost next to your city i can t build a work boat to improve and the whales. civ 5 build work boat Fishing boats allow a civilization to harvest the valuable crab, fish, whale and pearl resources. to construct fishing boats, you must build a work boat in a coastal city (after your civilization has learned the requisite technology). work boats are consumed when they construct fishing boats.. You were trying to build work boats in a landlocked city. you fail civilization forever. user info: julbull73. julbull73 9 years ago #10. i'm confused on why we need workboats now that workers can embark though? even to lock it to a technology it should just allow workers to build the improvements (fishing, whaling, etc) after the technology..
